Here's another break-in record. This time it's Buchanan & Greenfield from 1964.  Stereo snippets where possible.  Enjoy everyone.  Link here:  http://www.4shared.com/file/145270292/d64ce61e/Buchanan__Greenfield_-_The_Beatles_Invasion_Stereo.html

The break ins need to be compressed to match the 45 sound. Other than that...great job.  The abrupt edit for the fade out could be fixed by cross fading.

Yeah, I'm aware of the cross fading issue but I don't have all my programs transferred to my new hard drive yet so I'm not able to fix that yet.  As far as the tracks go, I left them a bit louder on purpose.  They were a lot louder earlier as was the main track which was recorded at such a high level it was saturated.  Without my main audio editing programs, there's not too much I can do yet, but thanks for pointing it out.

I thought it was great, actually.  I appreciated hearing it. I missed that the first time around. I can also see why you did not recognize Down By The Riverside by Bobby Rydell. I sure would not have known.

The record you used...like most 45s of the era, was highly compressed and limited...with early analog equipment that added lots of distortion.

The inserts are clean, and the editing is great.  You done good.

I would compress the stereo inserts a bit to even up the balance, and you've got it as good as it gets IMHO.

Terrific job. My only comment would be to go ahead and do what Bill Buchanan didn't do, and just drop in the clips from the real Beatles "She Loves You." The soundalike is kind of jarring, and I figure, what the hell, just use the real one at this point.

Note that Dickie Goodman constantly changed his hit singles, so that initially they used all the real hit segments for the first release, then as he would get "cease and desist" letters, he'd replace them over the next few weeks with studio soundalikes. According to his biography (written by son Jon Goodman), there were three or four versions of certain hits, particularly "Mr. Jaws."

("just drop in the clips from the real Beatles "She Loves You.")"  As far as I know that IS the real Beatles She Loves You.  Probably sounds a bit strange because of the stereo mix that was attempted on it.  Lots of echo and delay apparent.

What's the name of the song that's in this song, I like It Like That and the name of the group that sings it?
